Marshalls Bridgewater - Truck Access

Designing efficient truck access to support seamless distribution operations with minimal land impact
The TJX Companies, Inc. required a new truck access drive for their Marshalls distribution facility, ensuring seamless operations while minimizing land disturbance.
Colman Engineering delivered a comprehensive site design plan tailored to meet the client’s needs. Starting with a review of existing site conditions, Colman conducted topographic surveys, coordinated with stakeholders, and managed the civil design process. Using the client’s concept plan as a foundation, the team developed a preliminary design addressing site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utility considerations.
The final design incorporated precise plans for stormwater conveyance, erosion control, and optimized turning radii to accommodate tractor-trailer operations. By keeping land disturbance under 10,000 square feet and focusing on efficiency, Colman Engineering provided a solution ready for construction and seamless operations.
